Gym on Wednesday

On Wednesday I went to the gym, I worked out on the elliptical for 30 minutes. Then I did strength things like sit-ups and pretend swimming things! It was good to work out! i have created a plan, I will either go to the gym or to gymnastics everyday. The trip to costa rica really snuck up on me so now i have to work out like crazy to get in shape!

Gymnastics on Thrusday

At gymnastics on Thursday, everything went well my hands were still really hurting so I spent most of the time on the trampoline and the tumble track. I worked on my back flop things, front tucks, front bounders, and front handsprings, then on the tumble track I worked on front pikes and also running front tucks. I was successful at everything except for the front pikes. Then I went to floor and worked on aerials, they are really hard. I still didn't go for but I will on thursday!

Developed new skills- have never done a running front tuck

Gymnastics 1-19-10

At gymnastics yesterday, I had a lot of fun! I was on trampoline again, doing the steps to start to learn back tucks, and I was also learning the steps to do side aerials. These are cartwheels without hand! They look pretty easy actually, I almost had it! Then I went to bars and was doing my pullovers again, but when i saw my dad I wanted to show him just one more, and then my hands ripped. I think that it is really bad but the girls who are there do not think that it is bad at all.

I undertook new challenges because of the side aerial.

I also developed new skills, every time I go to gymnastics I learn new skills

Januarys Math Competion

Today there was another math competition. I did not do to well, I only got one problem correct. But thats ok they are very hard problems.


3 I planned activities because I had to talk to my teacher before hand about missing part of class in order to participate.

Gymnastics on Tuesday

On tuesday I went to gymnastics! It was really fun Like always and I know that I am starting to get into better shape because yes I am still soar today but it is not as bad as it has been in past weeks. Also my hands are getting really tough from being on the bars so much!

I tried to do the pull over again and I got it on my own again but I was on a bar that was much high so it was much harder.

I am increasing my knowledge of my own growth because I am now aware of what I can and cannot do.

I undertook new challenges because I tried to do a pull over on the higher bar which is a lot harder.

Gymnastics Day 2

This year I will be doing gymnastics twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays!
This thursday I learned a new skill ALL BY MYSLEF!!! ( but with some guidance from a 9 year old!) I learned how to do a pull over on the uneven bars. I was so happy when I figured it out!

I was on my own set of bars working on it, but then the little girl Suri was there. I needed more chalk on my hand, it makes your hands feel a lot better. The little girl said to try to keep my head to the bar longer. So i did that the next time and I got it! I was so excited! Suri didn't see it but the girl Kimmy did. She was the girl that I followed around the first day that I went. Kimmy is very nice and also REALLY good at Gymnastics! She seemed really happy for me! I was so excited! I had been working on this skill last year but I couldn't get it! but I got it this time!

I also did other things on Thursday but this was the main achievement that I made!

I worked collaberatly with others because of Suri showing me how to do it!

Also I learned new skills because I learned how to do a pullover!

Gymnastics-The Re-Start

Today I had Gymnastics again, I had not had it in a long time. In fact I thought that I had completed. But i decided that I was going to call them up again and get started again. I am really enjoying it again (well it was really fun while I was there, but now its not because Im so tired and sore... But its most definitely worth it) At Gymnastics, I worked on the bars, with swinging, cast handstands, then I went to the trampoline, it was new so I did flips, and front bounders, and then I went to the "fun" vault, I don't know what it is really called, its the one that I like the best. And last I went to beam and just did the basic stuff.

I have Planed and initiated activities because I had to call them up and ask if I can come back

I have shown perseverance because I have started it up again and I have been doing it a while now.

Gym Day 2

Yesterday I went to the gym again. I was going to go to the body blast class, but it was full. So i decided to go on the olpitical machine instead of the class. I have never used one of the olpitical things. I think I like it. Will see if I use it in the future.

I undertook new challenges because I have never used one of those things things before and I had to figure it out.
